Is it safe to take 600mg ibuprofen after taking codral (codeine, paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride)?
I took two Codral pills about three hours ago. Each pill contains 500mg Paracetamol, 9.5mg Codeine phosphate, and 5mg Phenylephrine Hydrochloride. I took them both at the same time.

My pain has come back hardcore. I have 600mg ibuprofen pills. Is it okay to take one since it has been 3 hours since the other pills? I feel like that's an awful lot of medicine...
I only took the recommended dosage as stated on the package. I didn't just decide to take two codrals for the heck of it. The medicine is available over the counter in Australia. I don't have a doctor here yet.
...that´s what she said.

only if your doctor prescribed it!!! could be considered like a accidentental overdose if you get sick, please let your doctor or a nurse know what you took and see if your organs are safe from mixing all the high dose meds...

Just took aspirin when can I take theraflu?
I am feeling ill and thought that perhaps an aspirin would do (325mg) Well it didn't. I took the aspirin about an hour ago. How long do I have to wait until I take theraflu? acetaminophen 650 mg, diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg

Is there a risk of addiction to the paracetamol tablet under the brand name UNIFLU?
Uniflu tabs contains among others (i) paracetamol 500mg, (ii) diphenhydramine hydrochloride 15mg, (iii) phenylephrine hydrochloride 10mg. It is indicated for symptomatic relief from influenza, colds, nasal & sinus congestions, coughing, fever, headaches, allergic conditions, hayfever, etc.

There is no physiological mechanism by which anyone can become addicted to paracetamol. There have been reports of addiction to combination products where paracetamol is combined with an opioid medicine, but this has nothing to do with the paracetamol component.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride has had cases of addiction however tolerance is more reported and is recognised in most countries as non addictive.
Im more concerned about diphenhydramine hydrochloride which continuous use of this medication can lead to dependency and addiction.

I suggest you seek medical help if you feel you are unable to stop taking this medication

That will blow your liver away bud.

Do not do it. Switch to ibuprofen or aspirin. Drink tons and tons of water or juices.
I do not know what your body weight is, but that is enough acetominaphen to really do some damage.

Can you take Neo Citran if you are allergic to salicylic acid?
I have already looked at the label but it doesn's say anything about it. The ingredients of this medicine are Paracetamol, Pheniramine Maleate, and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride. Thanks for your help in advance!

I highly recommend ground flax seed for health benefits (naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, Omega3 fats) & fiber. Most cereals are "fortified" with artificial chemically produced vitamins which may or may not be bioavailable in the body.

Ground flax seed (2-4 Tbsp) 1/4 cup water, sweetener, mix in a raw egg - let sit 10 min. to absorb liquid, put some cream cheese in the middle & nuke 2 minutes. Suggested for daily fiber needs.

Flax seed - 3.5oz - 534 cal - 27g fiber 109%DV - 65% calories from fat (high in Omega3 fatty acids) for 2gram carb & 26% DV Calcium - 64% Phosphorus - 29% Zinc - 61% Copper - 124% Manganese - 36% Selenium - 98% Magnesium - 32% Iron - 110% Thiamin - 9% B2 Riboflavin - 15% B3 Niacin - 24% Vit.B6 - 22% Folate - 10% Vit.B5.

Chia seeds - 3.5 oz is nearly 500 calories, half calories from fat (high in Omega3 fatty acids) 38g fiber 151%DV & 16grams of COMPLETE protein for 6grams carbs & 63% DV Calcium - 95% Phosphorus - 23% Zinc - 9% Copper - 108% Manganese.

Faux tapioca - 2 cups of water, 5 scoops of low carb whey protein powder, stir together & add cup of chia seeds, after they have started to absorb the water, add in 2 cans of coconut milk (or cream and added water during induction) & artificial sweetener if you like and mix it all in. Can be eaten after an hour but will be better tomorrow. Cream a pkg. of cream cheese into a can of pumpkin and add to the faux tapioca for an even more nutritious pumpkin pie pudding.

Peanut butter is an excellent food. I would assume Natural Skippy peanut butter wouldn't include added sugars or transfats. Make sure if you eat it with bread that you use only whole grain bread (preferably toasted)

1 cup oats (not instant)
2 tbspoons all natural Peanut butter
1 cut up banana
cook the oats, mix in PB + banana

Brazil Nuts- 3.5oz - 656 cal - 85% calories from fat for 4gram carb & 16% DV Calcium - 73% Phosphorus - 27% Zinc - 87% Copper - 61% Manganese - 2739% Selenium - 94% Magnesium - 13% Iron - 41% Thiamin - 2% B2 Riboflavin - 1% B3 Niacin - 5% Vit.B6 - 5% Folate - 2% Vit.B5.- 29% Vit.E

Almonds- 3.5oz - 575 cal - 72% calories from fat for 10gram carb & 26% DV Calcium - 48% Phosphorus - 21% Zinc - 50% Copper - 114% Manganese - 4% Selenium - 67% Magnesium - 21% Iron - 14% Thiamin - 60% B2 Riboflavin - 17% B3 Niacin - 7% Vit.B6 - 12% Folate - 5% Vit.B5.- 131% Vit.E - Potassium 20%

Raw nuts are living and full of the energy of life and should be capable of building a tree. Roasted nuts are dead & they may still provide some nutrients, but none can compare to the nutrients and enzymes from a live food.

Unfortunately, raw does not necessarily mean living.

For example - Commercially sold almonds are now required to be pasteurized turning a live food into a dead one. You can not sprout an almond that has been irradiated. I buy my almonds direct from growers off ebay. I get 20# for less than $3# including shipping.

April 6, 2007 - Small-scale farmers, retailers, and consumers are outraged over a new federal regulation that will require all almonds grown in California to be sterilized with various “pasteurization” techniques. The rule, which the USDA quietly developed in response to outbreaks of Salmonella in 2001 and 2004, traced to raw almonds, mandates that all almonds undergo a sterilization process that includes chemical and/or high-temperature treatments.

The only exemption to these new regulations will be ... small-scale growers who can sell truly raw almonds but only direct to the public

No, you will need to swallow them. Also, do not swallow too many because acetaminophen will kill you by poisoning your liver 48 hours after, if you do too many.

There are a lot of different strengths to this combination of pill. If you have the 8mg Codeine content ones, you are wasting your time.

The most frequent adverse reactions include lightheadedness, dizziness, sedation, nausea, and vomiting. These effects seem to be more prominent in ambulatory than in non ambulatory patients, and some of these adverse reactions may be alleviated if the patient lies down.

Other adverse reactions include euphoria, dysphoria, constipation, and pruritus.

Drug Abuse and Dependence

Controlled Substance: Codeine phosphate is a Schedule II narcotic.

Dependence

Although much less potent in this regard than morphine, codeine can produce drug dependence a.d. therefore, has the potential for being abused. Patients given 60 mg codeine every 6 hours for 2 months usually show some tolerance and mild withdrawal symptoms. Development of the dependent state is recognized by an increased tolerance to the analgesic effect and the appearance of purposive phenomena (complaints, pleas, demands, or manipulative actions) shortly before the time of the next scheduled dose. A patient in withdrawal should be treated in a hospital environment. Usually, it is necessary only to provide supportive care with administration of a tranquilizer to suppress anxiety. Severe symptoms of withdrawal may require administration of a replacement narcotic.

Flu and Fever a virus bug?
I just took a left over perscribed ibuprofen for fever that has not expired yet. It has 600mg. I have all the symptoms of a flu though can I now take a theraflu tea it contains
acetaminophen 650mg ----------for reducing pain and fever
pheniramine maleate 20mg ---------------antihistamine
Phenylephrine hydrochloride 10mg-----------nasal decongestant
or would that be to much medicen in my body? I weigh 130 pounds 5'5

Your max dose of ibuprofen would be 800 mg every 8 hours. This can be taken in conjunction with those other medicines in TheraFlu.

You can definitely take acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen together. Often times, I tell people to alternate between them every 3-4 hours for lots of fever and pain.

The antihistamine and nasal decongestant don't have any interactions with the ibuprofen so you can continue to take the Theraflu as directed and the ibuprofen 600 mg every 6 hours.

Can you mix a decongestant with a pain reliever?
I have a cold, and I also have wisdom teeth coming in. I have Phenylephrine hydrochloride for the cold, and a pain reliever pill containing Acetaminophen and Aspirin for the tooth pain. Is it safe to take both at the same time? (Just the usual, recommended amount of both.)

Also, would there be any side effects from mixing them? (Like dizziness or something.)

what are lincomycin hydrochloride and lidocaine hydrochloride gel use for?
miao
02/14/06
Reply
Lincomycin hydrochloride is mainly used for fighting respiratory tract and soft tissue infections.

there's another type: It is indicated for the infections due to Staphylococcus,Streptococcus Pneumococcus and anaerobes. It may cause enteritis of pseudo-menbrane after prolonged administration. Patients with hepatic insufficiency should use prudently.

Lidocaine hydrochloride is used as a pain reliever. Lidocaine (lignocaine) belongs to a group of medicines known as local anaesthetics. Lidocaine acts to block temporarily the pathway of pain impulses along nerve fibres. This relieves or prevents pain in the area where it has been injected. This preparation is injected to provide local anaesthesia for minor procedures, such as dental surgery.

How do i get over Rhinitis Medicamentosa(nasal spray addiction)?
i have been using a nasal spray of phenylephrine hydrochloride 1% for some time now. it's gotten so bad that the spray doesn't even have any effect anymore. i went to the doctors to seek help and he prescribed me loratadine 10mg tablets and nasonex. However these medications do not seem to be working and i am desperate to find relief for the sinus congestion. Is there anything i can do or any over the counter medication that i can take but will not worsen the phenylrphrine addiction?

Not "addiction" per se. You were experiencing rebound congestion from using it more than a few days.

How long ago did your doctor start you on Claritin and Nasonex? It takes a bit of time for the spray to work.

Give yourself a couple of weeks. If it doesn't work, he will want to give you something stronger, i.e. Zyrtec (which is over-the-counter now), or put you on Allegra (also over-the-counter).

Benadryl is far too strong. Your sinus will clog and you'll fall asleep during the day.

What you are seeing on the web is talking about exposure to vapors of hydrochloric acid, not about taking pills with a meal. Sort of like saying you can't drink from the municipal water supply because it is treated with chlorine when we know that chlorine gas is poison, especially to babies.

However, if you are still concerned, there are alternatives. You can take digestive bitters (Chamomile, Chickory, Gentian or a product called Swedish Bitters) at the start of a meal to increase your production of HCL. Also very helpful to sip vinegar water with meals. Mix 2-3 teaspoons apple cider vinegar and equal amount of honey in a little hot water. After it's dissolved, add cool water until it tastes pleasant.

Any difference between different types of diphenhydramine hydrochloride?

Nose spray in a neti pot?
I have had severely clogged ears for two years. I have chronic sinusitis and a deviated septum. I am looking for a way to unclog the ears before I resort to tubes or slicing.

I just read about putting a few drops of the phenylephrine hydrochloride nose spray into a neti pot and swishing it around in the sinuses.

My question is, is swishing nose spray laced saline around in your head dangerous?

I have never heard of doing it that way...but I don't think it would be too harmful. But what I recommend is getting those little packets called SinuCleanse and use 1/2 of a packet in the neti pot. I do it everyday and I love it. It will probably help with your ear situation, too. My sinusitis caused my ears to be clogged. I finally ended up getting sinus surgery and a full on rhinoplasty to fix my septum. Best decision I ever made...

500mg acetaminophen and 8mg codeine phosphate
325mg acetaminophen and 50mg dextropropoxyphene napsylate

  TYLENOL WITH CODEINE

DARVOCET

325mg acetaminophen and 50mg dextropropoxyphene napsylate

Your question is which is stronger- well the Darvocet is.

But the real question should be- what is more effective for pain.

That answer is- It depends on the type of pain and severity.

Darvocet is stronger.

Anyone know of "irritability" and "moodiness" as being a side affect of phentermine hydrochloride?
My husband has been taking phentermine hydrochloride off and on for about 2 yrs. He is not overweight. He takes them because he says they give him energy. He takes a 37.5mg pill in the morning and then basically lives off of energy drinks the rest of the day. He eats a decent meal on occasion.

When he is NOT taking the pills, he is basically an easy going 35 y/o guy. After 11 yrs of being married we have managed to own our own business and have 3 great kids. Our life is overall fulfilling.

However, I always know when he starts taking the phentamine hydrochloride again, because within two or three days he gets irritable, hateful, and apathetic to me and pretty much the rest of the family. He's like Jekyll and Hyde!

He gets them off the internet with a "script" by a "Dr." that he has never seen.

I've asked his to stop taking them. I've looked up everything I can on the internet, but he says I'm "crazy" and the pills are not doing anything to him.

Absolutely these pills can cause his behavior.... they are similar to other amphetamines and you can find more info by widening your search that way.

He should STOP STOP STOP taking these. You should find them and throw them away. Turn in the name of his "doctor" to your state's attorney general office. He needs you and doesn't realize it.

Zyrtec - second generation anti-histamine. It doesn't necessarily relieve nasal congestion but prevents allergens from causing a release of local inflammatory mediators thus preventing the congestion from happening. The best short term solution would be a nasal corticosteroid for your symptoms but if you have a fever, then a nasal sympathomymetic such as neosynepherine might be better.

Fluoxetine Hydrochloride?
Does anyone know what the side affects are when taking Fluoxetine Hydrochloride?

How does it medication works with depression? What happens with your body/brain/emotions when taking this medication?

For how long of a period are people on this medication? Is this the same as Prozac? Or a lower dosis?

I appreciate your help.
What is the difference between Fluoxetine Hydrochloride and Prozac? Is it the same?

I'm taking it now for more than a month and it has brought my mood swings down. I'm just scared that I will need this medication for the rest of my life, that I cannot live without it..Does anyone have the same feeling? How do you know when you dosis need to be increased? What does anxiety has to do with depression? I've felt anxiety for the last week..Does this comes together?

Thank you to all who have answered me so far. It really appreciate it..
Thank you for your answers.
I'm not sure if I exactly understand that terms that you were talking about. What happens with the brains when taking this medication? Where does the anxiety come from? And what can you do to bring the anxiety down? If the prescription says 1 capsul taken per day, but if you take more than 1 a day, say 2 or 3. What are the concequences? Will this way increase the dosis?

Question #1: The most common adverse reactions are nervousness, somnolence, anxiety, insomnia, headache, drowsiness, tremor, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth and anorexia (NOT anorexia nervosa, just anorexia which a loss of appetite). Less common adverse reactons are fatigue, fever, palpitations, hot flashes, nasal congestion, sore throat, sinusitis, constipation, upset stomach, abdominal pain, vomiting, gas, increased appetite, sexual dysfunction, weight loss, muscle pain, URI, cough, rash, itching, sweating and flu-like symptoms. The life-threatening adverse reaction is suicidal behavior.

Questions #2 & 3: Fluoxetine is in the class of antidepressants called SSRIs - selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. They are selective because they affect only serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter, one of the chemicals in our brain that transmits nerve impulses. There are several neurotransmitters. Certain ones are associated with depression and this includes serotonin. Fluoxetine and other SSRIs, block the reabsorption (that's reuptake) of serotonin by certain neurons (nerve cells) in the brain. This action leaves more serotonin available for use by the brain and enhances the sending of nerve impulses and improves mood. This is how fluoxetine works. Unless used at the beginning of a sentence, the word fluoxetine is not capitalized.

Question #4: Fluoxetine as with all antidepressants regardless of class can be used short term for situational depression or for life with chemical imbalance depression.

Question #5: Fluoxetine hydrochloride is the generic name. Prozac is a brand name for this drug. The name Prozac is always capitalized. Doses vary. Prozac Weekly is a 90mg capsule. Capsules also come in 10mg, 20mg and 40mg. The oral solution is 20mg/5 mL and tablets come in 10mg and 20mg dosages.

As far as weaning off fluoxetine, no antidepressant should be stopped abruptly. Fluoxetine may be prescribed initially at a low dose of 10mg but can be increased (titrated) over time to a therapeutic dosage whatever that may be. Could be 90mg twice a week or 10mg a day. It depends on what is effective and this is entirely subjective. The goal is to reach a therapeutic dosage and maintain effective serum levels. It cannot be "popped" like an Advil whenever needed as one responder to your question states she uses it for PMT. It does not have an immediate affect.

Question #6: See answer to Questions 2 & 3.

Question #7: Anxiety can be a component of depression.

Questions #8, 9 & 10: Do not self-medicate by taking a higher dosage than what has been prescribed. By doing so you increase your chances of having adverse reactions. If you feel that your current dosage is not effective, relate this to your prescriber who will increase the dosage. It's a simple matter. Please don't ask any more questions. This is enough.

Does any of these contain Cortisone?
Few years ago a dr put me on Cortisone eye drops which increased my eyes pressure. When I went to my original dr she told me that I could lose my sight, because my eye pressure was very high. It was 30 in both eyes.

Anyway, now I use a product (decongestant, antiseptic & anti-histaminic) called Ocumethyl which contains the following:
1- zinc sulphate B.P
2- Naphazoline hydrochloride U.S.P.
3- Diphenhydramine hydrochloride B.P
4- Methylene blue E.P

Does any of those ingrediants contains Cortisone?
Thanks,

None of the ingredients you list are compounds themselves. They are individual components of the compound that makes your medicine what it is. If the Ocumethyl had cortisone in it it would list it as a separate ingredient. Hopefully your pharmacist and your doctor would know if cortisone were in your meds, and if it is important to stay away from it you should make double sure that they know about that.... Good luck!

Are you taking the benadryl to help you sleep or to relieve your congestion? You really only need one or the other, not both. Just take the Nyquil, but be aware that it contains acetaminophen (tylenol), which can be VERY DANGEROUS if you overdose. Don't take anything else that has acetaminophen if you're taking Nyquil. It's also very important to stay hydrated when you're congested; it'll help things clear out faster.

I hope you feel better soon!

Can a fever (or the sensation of a fever) be caused by one of these common drug ingredients?
This morning I sneezed a little, and I took a pill -- Cold & Allergy Relief (by CVS). It contains Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride and Triprolidine Hydrochloride. After a couple of a hours, I started feeling feverish and drowsy, so I went to bed.

I noticed that this has happened to me previously. My question is -- did I really have a fever? And if I didn't, why did it feel as if I was having one? Could it be the result of taking this pill? If I did have a fever, did the pill cause it?

Thank you in advance for serious answers.

This likely happened from the medication.

Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that can temporarily raise your heart rate or increase your blood pressure. It was likely an increase in blood pressure that made you feel warm. It wasn't a fever, it just felt like one. If this happens often, try a cold remedy without Pseudoephedrine. Coricidin is one brand name that doesn't contain any decongestants and they market it for people with high blood pressure.

Triprolidine is an antihistamine with a side effect of drowsiness which is why you felt sleepy.

difference between Methadone Hydrochloride and Methadone?
my mom went and got her monthly pills and its a different methadone its says "hydrochloride" after methadone and it looks different
Jeff
05/25/10
Reply
It's the same sort of thing. The active ingredient, the methadone, is the only real thing you need to worry about. The hydrochloride is just a chemically bonded chloride group that shouldn't affect the methadone whatsoever. Methadone comes with hydrochloride generally, so chances are the labels that you had before only listed the main ingredient, methadone, and recently with newer rules about being specific of the whole ingredient they are now mandated to say hydrochloride. Overall, no difference.

Caffeine, alcohol and anxiety medication, bad combination?
I recently was drinking, I had maybe only 2 shots of 25% melon schnapps at around 9:30pm, then stopped, Later that evening I was trying to stay awake but finding it hard, So at 1am I took 2 caffeine tablets containing nicotinic acid and thiamine hydrochloride, Later at 3 am I took my prescription anxiety medication that also has a sedative in it containing atomexitine hydrochloride, Anyway I went to sleep at around 3am and woke up at 4:30 ish and vomited. Surely this would be to do with the mixture of drugs and alcohol? Anyone know any more about the two drugs? Please serious answers only :)

Is taking 240mg of codeine phosphate in one dose every day dangerous?
I know about the addiction side, but I wondered whether doing this is damaging to the body?
knitty_kitten
03/01/09
Reply
Yes, it is potentially very dangerous. The normal adult dosing is 15-60mg every 4-6 hours. The maximum in one dose should not exceed 60mg. The larger doses can increase the risk of codeine's side effects such as respiratory depresion, low blood pressure, slowed heart rate, seizures....
I recommend you only take the amount prescribed by your doctor, if the doses he/she prescribed aren't working, you need to talk to your doctor again to see what else they could try.

**Update** As far as the previous person stating that it was ok for you to take the 240mg at once, that is not correct. 240mg is the maximum amout recommened for a 24 hour period - not in one dose. One dose should not exceed 60mg.

Diphenhydramine and Chlorpheniramine are both first generation antihistmines. They are not the same drug but belong to the same category of medicines.
Diphenhydramine is a component of the popular Benadryl available over the counter and chlorpheniramine is present in many cold and cough remedies such as piriton.

It is not a good idea to combine both the medications unless recommended by your doctor.

Is it true that one way to prevent the DENGUE is to take vitamins specifically B1 Thiamine hydrochloride?
Some previous studies reveal that intake of high doses of vitamin B1 (25-50 mg 3x a day) may be an effective repellant against mosquito bites. Vitamin B1, or thiamine hydrochloride, in a safe and water soluble vitamin which produces a skin odor that is not detectable by human, but is disagreeable to mosquitoes.
Thiamine hydrochloride most likely acts to combine with the perspiration of the host to repel insects by its odor.
According to Allan Greene, M.D. FAAP, August 11, 1992; it takes about 2 weeks before the odor of thiamine fully saturates the skin
Silva et. al. in 1995 (Re. Hosp Clin, Fac Med, Jao Paulo Vol 50, No1) reports a widely help opinion in Brazil, that vitamin B complex is useful as a mosquito repellant
Dengue is now the most important mosquito-borne viral disease in the world affecting young and old, rich and poor

Does anyone have advice about migraines?
I've only just begun having migraine headaches, I started getting them when I was 16. At first they were pretty few and far between, but by the time I started my senior year of high school I was getting 3 or 4 a week. I've been seeing a neurologist since, he's the top in his field, I have no known external triggers, (i.e. food, sunlight, smells etc) and so far nothing has worked for the pain. (I've been on Imitrex, zomig, axert, darvocet, vicodin, midrin, demerol, dilaudid, talwin, hydrocodone/Norco, fioricette with codeine and oxycodone hydrochloride to date.) I'm on a prophylactic (Norvasc) but lately I've been having many a week again. Does anyone know what I should do next??

Cocktail of med's... What are the effects.?
I don't need a "its risky to mix alcohol and paracetamol, or w/e"... I would like a bare bones scientific answer as to the effects of:-
-200mg Caffine (Oral)
-1000mg Paracetamol (Oral)
-16mg Codine Phosphate (Oral)
- 12.5mg Buclizine Hydrochloride (Oral)
- 1600mg Cannabis (Smoked)
- 4x500ml Beer (3.5%)

All within an hour.

Thank You very Much

Sam
MaDi - No, Not in the slightest. A friend of mine was very drunk and high so he took the listed, and I was curious as to the effects.
Neither of us are suicidal! Plus, none of them items in this combination would be lethal, detrimental to health yes, but not lethal

What is the difference between Codeine Sulfate, Codeine, and Hydrocodone?
I have chronic cough and muscle stiffness and pain often. I have been prescribed everything from Tylenol 3 (30mg Codeine and Tylenol) to Hydrocodone 10mg/1000mg.

I've noticed that codeine seems quite weaker than Hydrocodone. If I take 2 hydrocodones, the same feeling takes 3-4 codeine tablets to acheive the desired feeling.

Recently, someone told me I should try Codeine Sulfate (60MG), they are small white tablets and contain no Tylenol, Asprin, or Ibuprofen. If I take 2 of these, will they be more similar to Hydrocodone or the Tylenol 3's?

What is the difference between Codeine Sulfate, Codeine, and Hydrocodone?
Repkying to first answer someone left.

Tylenol 3's and 4's are the combination of codeine with acetemetophin.

Hydrocodones (Vicodin, Lortab...etc) is the combination of Hydrocodone with acetemetophin.

Vicodin 5/500 is 5mg hydrocodone/500mg acetemetohin.

Tylenol 3's are 30mg Codeine / 300mg Acetemetophin.

Hydrocodone must be a different form of codeine that is stronger. MY main question is....What is the difference between Hydrocodone and Codeine? And where does codeine sulfate fit in the mix.

I do like your answer, it just lacks the main information I need.

I'm not familiar with codeine sulfate vs. codeine.

I know that hydrocodone is a combination of codeine plus an NSAID. I think it's acetaminophen.

Hydrocodone will be more powerful than codeine alone, because the 2 drugs combined provide a stronger effect than either would separately. You can get the same thing from taking codeine and tylenol pills separately, 10 mg and 1000mg respectively. It's the same thing.

I weigh about 120 lbs and I'm a girl and I wanted to know how taking this dosage will affect me.

Could the ingredients in this be the cause of my improved mood?
Hey,

Iv been taking this vitamin supplement for 3 weeks now and recently have noticed an improved mood. I was taking a multi vitamin and b-complx before. Could the ingredents in this have improved my mood as I know there are amino acids and herbs in this that can do this i think? the ingredients are at the end of this question.

On the other hand I have hypothyroidism and have been increasing my medication recently too, so maybe the improved mood is from this?

Also, My vitamin D was a bit low in a test and I have also been taking 2000IU vitamin D3 for the past 3 weeks.

For the past few years I have felt quite depressed and unsociable because of this but recently have felt much more sociable and out going, but really don't know if it's the correcting of hypothyroidism or the supplement doing this. Which out of these three is more likely causing the better mood?

  Sure!
Ashwagandha is Indian Ginseng, which helps with stress and immune system. Eleuthero Root is Siberian Ginseng, which helps with energy and stress. Maca is good for sexual health and some aspects of Testosterone. Those alone could easily improve (or at least minimize) a bad mood, plus there are several nutrients in there that can help with energy and/or good overall health... when you feel healthier, you tend to feel better.
I hope I helped!

can i still "robotrip" on dextromethorphan if it is combine with brompheniramine and phenylephrine?
Active Ingredients (in each 5 mL teaspoonful)

Brompheniramine maleate, USP 1 mg - Antihistamine
Dextromethorphan HBr, USP 5 mg - Cough Suppressant
Phenylephrine HCl, USP 2.5 mg - Nasal decongestant

Just wondering if i can still get high on the DXM without maybe getting sick from the other active ingredients. If I can how much should I take to actually hallucinate but not freak out?

What OTC tablet is this?
I recently had my wisdom teeth pulled out. Well we were out of tylenol and advil and i dont like narcotics and i hadnt filled my script of non narc pain meds. Anyhow my good friend who is in her 50s, so not some young druggie teen, gave me some tablets that she said had codeine in them so be careful. Heres the thing she gave them to me in a baggie since they came from a big bottle. so i dont have that to look at. The tablet is rather thick and is convex with a flat ridge all the way around. It is all white, but has no other visible markings. (i did enquire with my friend what they were but she was going outa town and wasnt home to look at and wont be for 5 days!)
I know she didnt lie to me but for my own comfort id really like to find out what they are so i dont ruin my liver or god knows what.
I know its nearly impossible to identify an unmarked pill, and all drugs regulated by the FDA must be printed but that doesnt apply to OTC. I know their are otc codeine containing meds, im thinking its an acetaminophen/codeine phosphate type tablet. Can anyone think of what it may be from personal experience?

What does fiorinal with codeine feel like?
Can someone tell me what fiorinal and codeine feels like? I usually take vicodin when I get a severe migrain because thats the only thing that works!! I cant take topamox because it makes me forget and imitrex doesnt work! I have fiorinal without the codeine and it works ok but Ive heard that fiorinal with codeine is more effective!

Vicodin has hydrocodone in it, and codeine in th fiorinal makes them both controlled substances. The hydrodocone is a stronger narcotic, but fiorinal is the med of choice for migraines, because of the compounded drugs and their action.

Like tamoxifen, it is given to women after they have completed their chemo or radiotherapy for breast cancer. It is designed to prevent the cancer returning especially when the cancer is hormone responsive (hungry). It was developed as a drug for the prevention of cancer and osteoporosis as it works on oestrogen. Raloxifen is just a newer version with some slight differences.

One of the crappiest Opiate based narcotics ever made in my opinion. And I will say this so someone else on here can interject. It has a 9 hour half life and is a 50 to 100 mg pill. On this half life, if you take four a day your gonna have up to 400mg's in you. If half gets depleted in 9 hours that's 200 left. Than 9 after that 100 than 9 after that which would be 27 hours 50 and into the next day. So if the drug holds a 100mg to 50 mg foundation every 24 hours you can see how it can build up in you. WITHDRAW is not 21 days but it can take up to 21 days to get out of you and I have the most credible sources in the world!

This is a very weak opiate which randomly hits receptors and it gets it's extra punchy feeling of euphoria from it's anti-depressant serotonin channeling properties. Which incidentally can trigger terrible manic thoughts, depression, not sleeping, suicidal tendencies if the blood level is not maintained at a functioning level. Take it with Prozac and your done. Withdrawal can include brain Zaps. Does that sound good? Extreme blood shot ,baggy eyes.

If you are not a person physically dependant on opiates this can be a good drug. I have heard actual pharmacologists refer to it as a joke. To A person physically dependant on opiates this drug in my opinion is a death sentence. One; there are still people that believe the lie it is a non-narcotic, non-opiate. OKAYYYYYYYY! And pigs fly, right?

It is totally synthetic and on a physically dependant person and a person that was a user of this drug for a long time, the withdrawal is hell and in my opinion worse than anything I ever felt. And minded there was nothing else in me! I personally think a person is better off taking hydrocodone. I would not recommend this drug to my worse enemy. I heard a pain managment person say on here withdraw is only two days. Nonesense! The drug will not even be out of your system in two days. And half life has nothing to do with when a drug gets out of your system. Example marijuana has a half life of a few hours but it stays in you a month. Alcohols half life is a half hour per ounce but it stays in you 24 hours.

You need methadone or another opiate to get off this stuff. It is next to impossible to wean off this in the doses it is calibrated in and half life. I have wrote many things on this drug in my previous questions. Look by all means. Type in Ultram sucks on Google. This drug SUCKS! Can it help you if you never took a pain pill, yea. Do I think a person should be on it for years? HELL NO. Should I put the fear of God in people instead of tell them its just wonderful, absolutely! I am not going to lie to you like pharmaceutical giants that claim Ambien is non habit forming .

It is one of the most addictive street drugs. Mainly used in the gay community at first, it is now used by all kinds of users. It is cheap compared to other uppers, and lasts much longer. It can be snorted, smoked, injected or ingested.
Amphetamine and Methamphetamine (Methamphetamine is a chemical variation of A., with a much stronger effect on the central nervous system) increase the amount of dopamine in the brain. In low doses, Amphetamine is used for ADD, as it stimulates the brain but actually slows down the patient (e.g. Ritalin). It decreases hunger and leads to weight loss.

Negative effects include sleep problems, restlesness, aggressiveness. Long-term negative effects include heart, liver, kidney and lung damage as well as psychosis.

Methamphetamine is more addictive than the original drug and has a greater "rush", followed by increased agitation and possibly violence. A user can go days without sleep - the coming down is even more brutal then and often makes the individual use even more.
